The Mirror

(1 customer review)

We are equally made in God’s image.

People come in all colors, shapes, and sizes. God loves all people, and it takes all of us—together—to reflect his image on the Earth.

God wanted to make something so unique, so special, so much better than even the coolest animals on the planet. So, he looked in the mirror and decided to make people, in his image. Some people are one color, some are another color. Some people are short, others are tall. But, we’re all just right and equally valued and loved by God.

The Mirror conveys a powerful message that combats the current culture of racism and gives impressionable little minds a firm foundation for navigating this issue from a Christian worldview. The book celebrates each child in the unique way he or she was created and encourages kids to love themselves and their neighbors, just as they are. It’s ideal for family story or devotion time.

“I’m the father of two young girls, and I want to give them tools to navigate the sticky issues of the day. They motivated me to find a way to reach other kids with the knowledge of God’s love for all people.” —Shawn Brann
