How God used an elephant
to help us share the gospel in Sri Lanka
We weren’t planning to stop.
But when we saw an elephant just off the side of the road, we pulled over to take a few pictures — and that’s when everything shifted.
People started gathering.
And Rubin saw it for what it really was: an open door.
Right then and there, he began sharing the Gospel. In a cobra-worshipping village. With people who may have never heard the name of Jesus before.
And one man didn’t just listen — he prayed with Rubin to surrender his life to Jesus.Â
God used an elephant to slow us down…
to open the door for salvation.
What might God be using to slow you down… and open the door for something eternal?

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands. They have mouths but cannot speak, eyes but cannot see, ears but cannot here. But our Jesus, he is alive.

Right now, in our world, God is raising up an army—a nameless, faceless generation of people who love Jesus with all their hearts and share the gospel with everyone around them.
